上海市民航职业技术学院是一所以航空业务为主，集航空技术、经营管理、旅游管理、财务会计、物流管理、人力资源管理为一体的大型多科性高等职业院校。学院位于上海市闵行区，占地面积近200亩，建筑面积3.8万平方米，是目前上海市唯一以航空业务为特色的高等职业院校。

学院成立于1992年，前身是上海市民航飞行员学校，是国家批准的独立学历教育机构。学院开办有本科、专科和中等职业教育三大教育体制，目前已形成以航空技术、旅游管理、物流管理、人力资源管理、会计电算化5大学士学位专业和12大专业方向的培养体系。

学院目前已具备实施国家“十二五”时期重大民航建设工程能力培养方案的条件，并通过了国家民用航空局的正式批准。学院将在“十二五”时期内承担民航飞行员培训100名以上、飞行员改装40名以上、飞行员进修30名以上的任务。

学院目前已成功承担了多项国家重大民航工程，包括上海市民用航空机场集团公司飞行员培训项目、中国国际航空公司飞行员培训项目、中国南方航空公司飞行员培训项目、中国东方航空公司飞行员培训项目。

学院在“十一五”时期内开发了24门课程标准课（其中9门课是国家民用航空局要求必修课）；开发了2门新课标准课（其中1门课是国家民用航空局要求必修课）。

在“十一五”时期内开发的24门课标准课中包括《飞行导航》《飞行运用数学》《飞机通用原理》《飞机性能》《飞行人员心理适应》《气象对飞行的影响》《气动对飞行的影响》《飞机材料及制造工艺对飞行的影响》《飞机发动机对飞行的影响》等9门必修课。此外还包括14门选修课如:《气旋对飞行的影响》《雷雨天气对飞行的影响》《夜间/光板天气对飞行的影响��《雾/雪天气对飞行的影响》等。

在“十一五”时期内开发的2门新标准课中包括:��新能源材料应用原理及应急处理方法(必修)”和“飞行员职业发展与职业生涯规划(选修)”。

学院目前已经形成了一支高素质的师资队伍，其中教授级高级工程师12人，副教授级高级工程师18人，中级工程师52人；博士2人，硕士16人。

学院目前已建成实训基地4个，实训航站楼1座；飞机3架（包括2架教学用飞机、1架实训用飞机）、飞行仿真器2台、飞行教学平台1套、气象仪器1套、气动仪器1套、发动机仪器1套。

Thecollegehasnowmettheconditionsforimplementingthenational"TwelfthFive-YearPlan"majorcivilaviationconstructioncapabilitytrainingprogramandbeenofficiallyapprovedbytheCivilAviationAdministrationofChina.Duringthe"TwelfthFive-YearPlan"period,thecollegewillundertakethetasksoftrainingmorethan100pilotsforcivilaviationairportsgroupcompanyinShanghai,40pilotsforconversiontrainingand30pilotsforfurtherstudy.
